Homophobia under her hijab

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX   -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

NEWLY ELECTED U.S. HOUSE REP ILHAN OMAR WENT ON CNN TO APPLAUD THE U.S. CONGRESS FOR DIVERSITY AND PASSING A MEASURE TO ALLOW HER TO WEAR A HIJAB IN CONGRESS.  TO CELEBRATE, SHE THEN EXPOSED THE HOMOPHOBIA UNDER HER HIJAB.

ILHAN OMAR FEELS SENATOR LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM IS A SECURITY RISK BECAUSE HE'S A GAY MAN.  SHE WON'T COME OUT AND SAY IT, SHE'LL JUST INSINUATE.  WHEN PRESSED, SHE WILL -- AS SHE DID ON CNN -- INSIST THERE IS EVIDENCE AND WHEN ASKED TO PRESENT IT SHE WILL FALL BACK ON THE IT'S-MY-OPINION DEFENSE.

IT'S OUR OPINION THAT HER HOMOPHOBIA HAS NO PLACE IN THE U.S. CONGRESS.

REACHED FOR COMMENT, ILHAN OMAR EXCLAIMED, "I CAN BE HOMOPHOBIC!  THE VICE PRESIDENT'S WIFE IS TEACHING AT A HOMOPHOBIC SCHOOL.  RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, TO ME, MEANS IS IF A CHRISTIAN CAN BE HOMOPHOBIC, SO CAN A MUSLIM!  I AM A HOMOPHOBIC MUSLIM!  I REPRESENT MICHIGAN!  I REPRESENT HOMOPHOBIA!"

SHE CERTAINLY DOES.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

US troops are not going to defeat ISIS.  Not in Syria, not in Iraq, not anywhere.

ISIS is not a country, it's not a force of a country.  ISIS is a terrorist organization.  They are not defeated in war.  All war aimed at a terrorist organization ever does is recruit more members.

By declaring war on them, you elevate them.

When Ed Snowden went to Russia and Barack began his verbal attack on Vladimir Putin, we noted he was elevating Putin.  And he was.  We noted the same thing with regards to ISIS.  But on that one, Barack grasped it.  It's why he made his junior varsity crack.

Whether you think it's earned or not, the US is hated in many sections of the world.  If it helps you to stop sobbing, there are sections that like -- maybe even love -- the US.  But the country is hated in sections of the world.

So inflating ISIS automatically creates sympathy for the terrorist organization.  'The imperial devil is against ISIS?  Yea ISIS!'  But more to the point, the US at war against ISIS?

What likes to think of itself as the lone super power at war against ISIS?

Do you not get the kind of drama that creates, the kind of support?

It's Goliath (the US) versus David (ISIS).

You can't get better recruitment than that.

ISIS will never be destroyed by war.

Terrorism is an ideology and it is born from a belief of imbalance.  When that belief is backed up with something like 'The US declares war on ISIS!,' you have recruitment and increased membership.

Terrorism is a crime.  It needs to be fought as you would fight a crime.  It needs to be arrests and public trials.  Not shipped off to Guantanamo with whispers about what someone may have done.  You fight terrorism with open discourse and debate, with democracy.

The US military will never 'win' against ISIS.  That's not a job a military can handle.

Idiots who don't grasp that are like the liars who pretend they don't in order to keep never-ending wars going.

The smartest thing Donald Trump could do would be to remove all US troops from Syria -- as well as Iraq.  It would be safer for both Americans and Iraqis if that happened.  As it is, ISIS recruits flowed to both countries due to the presence of the US.

While the children are still out of the world, let's point out another reality with regards to terrorism: when people feel wronged, it would do the larger society good to consider the validity of those claims.

The PKK is a group that fights for Kurdish rights.  They are labeled a terrorist organization by many (including the US government).  Turkey is happy to bomb northern Iraq (killing and wounding many civilians) while they pretend they are attacking the PKK.  But at what point in our history do we look at the grievances of the Kurds?  When do we examine it for validity?

PKK actions have always decreased when it appeared that an examination might take place, an honest inventory.  Ten years ago, Recep Tayyip Erdogan -- yes, Erdogan -- reaped a few benefits by giving the impression that an honesty inventory and dialogue was about to take place.  It never did and violence returned.

Though, of course, the Kevin Liptaks couldn't report it that way.  They had to lie and make it nefarious and complicated and twisted because heaven forbid we ever illuminate basics in foreign relations.  The US government doesn't want you to understand its actions, it only wants you to nod along with whatever they do.

ISIS will be defeated by law enforcement, by recognizing real injustices and addressing them, by an open dialogue where participants -- even those not belonging to the government of a super power -- feel their voice is heard and the future is something that they have a stake in.

In the end all Rhodes lead to unemployment

BULLY BOY PRESS &    CEDRIC'S BIG MIX   -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

AFTER YEARS OF PROTECTING HIS ASSHOLE BROTHER BEN, DAVID RHODES IS OUT AS CBS NEWS PRESIDENT.  REACHED FOR COMMENT BY THESE REPORTERS, DAVID ASKED, "SHOULD I HAVE KNOWN THAT CHARLIE ROSE WAS HARASSING AND MOLESTING WOMEN AT WORK?  PROBABLY.  BUT COVERING FOR MY BROTHER WHILE HE WAS WORKING IN THE WHITE HOUSE ALL THOSE YEARS TOOK A TOLL.  YOU CAN'T LIE CONSTANTLY AND ALSO DO A GOOD JOB SUPERVISING."

DAVID RHODES PAUSED AND THEN CONTINUED, "IT'S GOING TO BE A NEW WORLD FOR ME AND I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE PATH I'M ON AND ALL THAT THE FUTURE HOLDS.  IT'S A GREAT LIFE!"

REACHED FOR COMMENT, ASSHOLE BROTHER BEN REPLIED:

No. It's not.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

This morning, THE GUARDIAN is offering a piece entitled "Baghdad At play: normal life returns to Iraq's capital -- in pictures."  ALJAZEERA's pimping "Women in Iraq reclaiming roles in society."

Have you ever heard the sound of disappointment?
It tangles your head like a winter rose.
Comes up eager and shining
And it likes to leave a scar before it goes.
Here comes that sinking feeling
Can't keep it to myself
-- "Here Comes That Sinking Feeling," written by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, first appears on Eurythmics' BE YOURSELF TONIGHT

Donald Trump's talk of pulling US troops out of Syria and Afghanistan has frightened me.  A lot of us aren't frightened and feel more needs to be done.

The US has been fighting wars in Iraq & Afghanistan for 18 years & Syria for many more, spent trillions of $ that could have been spent on Americans who need it. Thousands of men & women have died. Nevertheless, there is outrage when POTUS says it's time to come home. Incredible

For example, Scott Taylor (Halifax's THE CHRONICLE HERALD) offers:

Now that the unifier has been eliminated, Canada should follow Trump’s lead and get our troops out of there. We have no skin in the game and we will definitely not have a seat at the big boy table when an eventual resolution is drawn up.
Our policy makers have already illustrated their ignorance of this complex conflict in authorizing our soldiers to wear the Kurdistan flag.

Thank goodness we did not actually compound that error by pouring in another $10 million of weaponry to add to the endless killing. Simply put, if you don’t know the players, you have no place being in the game. Bring our troops home.

What if other people begin echoing Scott Taylor?  Horrified at the thought that peace might break out, a number rush forward to portray Iraq as a 'turned corner.'  Yet again.

Sean Smith aims the camera for THE GUARDIAN piece -- aims it just where The Rockefeller Foundation tells him too -- they are the ones signing the check, after all.  And who wouldn't trust a Rockefeller?  That was sarcasm.

And despite the happy title given to the Qatar funded ALJAZEERA's report, even the report doesn't match the headline.

Life is so great and it's advancing!  Screams the headline, right?  But the reality is that women activists in Iraq aren't seeing that.  In fact, Nabil Salah (at the George Soros funded OPEN SOCIETY) notes that women aren't even in stadiums at sports events these days:

Late last month in Iraq, Al-Shorta SC faced Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in week 9 of the Iraqi Premier League. The Al-Shaab Stadium -the venue where FC Schalke had suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Iraqi national team in a world cup preparation match in 1986- was already almost packed over an hour before kick-off. It was a crucial match for both teams' race to climb to the top of the IPL table.
In a packed 34,200-seater, I was searching for any female presence among the attendance, to no avail.
Unlike what pictures from the so-called ‘golden-era’ of Iraq often posted by Iraqi pages on social media show, the presence of women on the terraces today remains a rare sight; almost non-existent.
When asked about the absence of female football fans from Iraq's stadiums, Naba Shakir Iraqi women's national team and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya defender says, "In my opinion, harassment on the terraces or at the gates is just one of many reasons that makes us reluctant to attend football matches in Iraq. The main reason is the uncivilized behavior of many. With all due respect to those who create a beautiful atmosphere, but many others have caused several problems in football stadiums during the recent years."
Unfortunate incidents have frequently overshadowed Iraq's football scene in recent years, such as pitch invasions, vandalizing and physical assault against players and referees.
However, there were times when football stadiums weren't only occupied by men, and when women would normally attend a football match.

Iraqi football writer Hassanin Mubarak explains that "women did attend football matches but usually the big events, like the 1966 Arab Cup and the 1979 Gulf Cup. The Iraqi footballer and national team captain Husham Atta Ajaj remembered one game which was played in the morning during the 1966 Arab Cup between Iraq and Bahrain and he stated there were no empty seats because they were occupied by female students who had come to watch the game. It was the same at the 1979 Gulf Cup."

To talk about women in Iraq honestly is not a happy story.  That may be why so many choose instead to lie.

How bad was Hillary?

BULLY BOY PRESS &    CEDRIC'S BIG MIX   -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

HOW BAD WAS HILLARY CLINTON AS A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE?

SO BAD THAT ANTI-ABORTION BOB CASEY JR. IS CONSIDERING RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2020.

SO BAD THAT BLAND AND BORING BOB CASEY JR. IS CONSIDERING RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2020.

SO BAD THAT BOB CASEY JR. -- WHOSE OWN 4 CHILDREN FIND HIM FORGETTABLE -- IS CONSIDERING RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT IN 2020.

JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU GRASP HOW BAD A CANDIDATE HILLARY WAS, YOU REALIZE YET AGAIN THAT YOU DON'T KNOW THE HALF OF IT.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Let's start with this.

“It should not be the job of America to replace regimes around the world. This is what President Trump recognized in Iraq, that it was the biggest foreign policy disaster of the last several decades, and he’s right...The generals still don’t get the mistake.”

You mean THIS Sally Deal?  The piece of crap piece of trash who doesn't understand how it works?

Throw in the other piece of trash -- though there's a lot of them, I mean Ben

Draft-dodging reality TV show star who thinks he knows military strategy better than his Secretary of Defense who served in the Persian Gulf War, Afghanistan, and Iraq, has driven away his most qualified cabinet member. Thank you for your many years of service, General Mattis.

Love the necklace, sir, it screams "trash."

Reality for Ben and Sally idiot, Donald Trump does know more than the military.  Barack did too.  Every president does because we live in a democracy and not a military junta.

The  military is not there to provide solutions.  It is there to be tasked with a duty or a command and to follow it.

Do you pieces of trash understand that?

Depending on who the president is --what political party -- trash like you try to hide behind the military and wrap yourselves in the flag.  You don't what the hell you're talking about because you are sorely lacking in the basic education you should have received.

In a democracy, you have civilian control over the military.  The Congress will provide oversight.  The president will provide orders.

The military will be tasked with executing those orders.

Their opinions?  Not really that damn important.

Sorry if that offends your delicate -- and uninformed -- sensibilities.

Civilian control over the military.  And the military does what they are commanded to do.  Try grasping that reality or, if you prefer, move to some country that has a junta and enjoy yourselves there.  Until then, grasp that living in a democracy means you can say anything but being in the public square probably means you shouldn't -- especially when every remark you make only underscores just how deeply stupid you are.
