Every pot has a lid

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX  -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

PRESUMED AND PRESUMPTIOUS DEMOCRAT JOE BIDEN IS SHOPPING AROUND FOR A RUNNING MATE.

SADLY, THE WIZARD OF OZ IS NOT AROUND TO GIVE HIM A BRAIN.

BUT HE'S CONSIDERING MAKING SENATOR TAMMY DUCKWORTH HIS RUNNING MATE.

DUCKWORTH IS PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED, JOE IS MENTALLY CHALLENGED -- THEY COMPLETE ONE ANOTHER.

Starting in the US where there's another candidate trying to win the presidency.  Dario Hunter.  The Green Party candidate?  Yes.  He lost that nomination to Howie Hawkins and now is attempting an independent run for president.  Cindy Sheehan spoke with him on her latest CINDY SHEEHAN'S SOAPBOX.  He tells Cindy he's "a fighter."

He tells Cindy Sheehan, "I wanted to take that fight to the country as a whole" -- Green Party issues -- "to ensure to move that agenda, that platform forward."  Really?  He lies so very well, doesn't he?

Gate keepers are in the Green Party, he insists.  He doesn't want to tell the world that, you understand, but "It's a truth that I have to share."  He says he and other Green candidates had to claw their way to get access to the voters to . . .

Oh, shut up.

The Green Party may be all of those things.  Howie co-founded it.  He might have reaped the same backdoor benefits that Hillary Clinton did in 2016.  He might not have.

But Dario is not the one to make those charges.  Lazy Dario is not the one to make those charges.

Did the Green Party stop him from Tweeting?  Did the Green Party stop him from posting to FACEBOOK?

He was a lazy ass candidate.

I agree with Dario on the issues probably 100%.  I was hoping he'd get the nomination.  But months ago, when Jess and Ann turned against him and decided to support Howie, it was because lazy Dario wasn't running a real campaign.  You don't control the media or what it covers.  You do control your campaign site and you do control you social media.

We started out noting Dario here every Saturday or Sunday that we noted Howie.  Then I wasn't noting Howie.  Why?  I had nothing to note from Dario's campaign.  Was that fair to Howie -- or anyone running a real campaign -- that they didn't get noted because their opponents were too lazy to even Tweet once a week?

No.

Dario's nonsense plays with Cindy because (a) she likes him and (b) she wasn't paying attention to his campaign -- as she notes, she's not a Green.  I'm not either but we try to note all candidates for president and have done that from the beginning.  Much to David Cobb's displeasure in 2004.  I believe he was our first e-mail complaint from a non-journalist.

I wish Dario had gotten the Green Party's presidential nomination.  I think he has a great stand on the issues.  But Dario didn't get the nomination -- apparently he's this year's Hillary Clinton in that he's just not going to go away -- and that is his fault.  He needs to own that.

His criticism of the Green Party may be accurate, it may not.  But he needs to start taking ownership for the fact that he didn't run a real campaign.  If Dario was not happy that a co-chair of the party (I believe he means Dr. Margaret Flowers) was on Howie's campaign, guess what?  He had months to object to that.  He could have Tweeted and reTweeted that.

He would have had to have named her and he's too much of a chicken s**t to name her, but we would've noted it.

After he fails as a candidate, he refuses to look at his mistakes, he refuses to be honest.  He also refuses to discuss anti-war or peace in anything but platitudes which may have been the second most disappointing thing about the interview.  And, so no one e-mails me, I don't call US troops War Criminals.  I don't do that for Iraq, I don't do it for Vietnam.  Stephen D. Green was a War Criminal.  His actions were War Crimes.  But I do not use him to smear other troops.  I don't know why, in that interview, we're calling Howie Hawkins a War Criminal because he served in Vietnam but, to be clear, that's their interview, that's not me.

The Green Party needs to respond to Dario's charges.  Flowers -- with or without her husband Kevin Zeese -- needs to respond to this.  If they don't, these charges are going to linger all the way through November.

And people need to tell him that a Green Party convention is not "fascist."  He has no idea what fascism is when he trots out that.

And he's got no idea of anything.  He needs to close his mouth right now and work on his campaign site.  He's too late on many ballots and he's too stupid to use his campaign site.  Click here.  It's a list of state's where he has ballot access and where he's working on it and --

Oh, no, it's not.  That was published at least three months ago (see bottom of the page).  He's supposedly campaigning as an independent and working on ballot access . . . but he hasn't even updated his campaign site.  If someone believed in him and wanted to work for ballot access, if they visited his site, they would either be misled or wasting their time.

He says he's running as an independent and he says he has left the Green Party but the bottom of this page -- his official campaign site -- says "Green for President."

I'm really disappointed in this interview.  It's one thing to allow Dario to come on and trash the Green Party -- I've got no problem with that -- but considering how lazy he was -- not to mention he hid out in California for weeks not working on his campaign -- to allow him to whine that the nomination was stolen from him, that's outrageous.

So much in common

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX  -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

PEDOPHILE, AND ALSO CONSORT TO PEDOPHILE, GHISLAINE MAXWELL WRAPPED HER CELL PHONE IN TIN FOIL.

THAT PUTS THE PERV SLIGHTY AHEAD OF THE RUSSIA-GATE-ERS WHO HAVE SPENT NEARLY FOUR YEARS WRAPPING THEIR HEADS IN TIN FOIL.

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Let's move over to a country that shares a border with Iraq: Turkey.  Amberin Zaman (AL-MONITOR) reports:

Mark Alan, a retired schoolteacher from Fort Collins, Colorado, is something of a late developer. He was 42 when he "came to faith” and 65 when he married for the first time, with Duygu, a Protestant convert from Turkey. “It was love at first sight,” Alan, now 73, recalled in a telephone interview with Al-Monitor. The couple settled into a comfortable life in the Aegean port city of Izmir. “I always felt safe in Turkey, I had a real heart for the Turkish people,” Alan said. Then in a single day, their whole world fell apart. Alan was on his way back from the United States last June when he was pulled aside at the airport by Turkish police and told he was banned from entering the country ever again. “They didn’t explain why,” Alan said. He insisted that he had no role in the local church in Izmir where his wife served as a book keeper.
Alan is among more than 50 foreign Protestants, including Finns, Germans and South Koreans, who have been summarily banned from Turkey as recently as June 26 on the grounds they present “a threat to Turkey’s public order and public health.” Some 26 are US citizens.
The wave of deportations began soon after Andrew Brunson, a pastor from North Carolina, was freed from a jail near Izmir in October 2018 after serving two years on outlandish terrorism charges linked to the failed July 2016 attempt to violently topple Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The evictions are continuing full throttle and tearing families like Alan’s apart.
On June 5 of this year, Joy Anna Crow Subasiguller, the American wife of a Turkish pastor in Ankara, was notified by Turkey’s Interior Ministry that her residence permit was not being renewed. She was given 10 days to leave. No reason was offered to the 39-year-old mother of three. She is still breastfeeding the couple’s 4½-month-old daughter, Derin Mercy.
“I am sad at the prospect of my family having to leave our home, my husband’s precious family, and our friends and church family,” Subasiguller told Al-Monitor. She is appealing the decision in a Turkish court. Subasiguller has lived in Turkey for the past 10 years. She said she expected an answer within one or two months. Similar appeals have all been rejected.

Is Turkey being unreasonable with regards to religion or is this about spying?

Missionary is often a cover for spying.  In the US, I became acquaintances in July of 2014 with a woman we'll call M.  She was and remains a nice person.  Her older brother does "God's work."  He does it in places that seemed rather strange to Ava.  I shared with Ava that there was no way M's brother was a missionary, he was most likely a spy for the US government and to be careful of what she said to M in case M's meeting us was not a chance event.  The brother being a spy was confirmed six months later when M's younger sister let that fact slip out.

So this could be Recep Tayyip Erdogan's latest bout of religious intolerance or it could be his attempt to address foreign spying on his country.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has plunged his country into a series of economic, political, and military crises. As he becomes unable to justify his mistakes and to push his dubious designs—which include the reviving of the Ottoman Empire, playing the Sultan, and using the Muslim Brotherhood to that end—he points fingers at countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, accusing them of directing “black propaganda” against Turkey.

AL-MONITOR notes, "In the next three years, Erdogan said, Turkey will be an unstoppable powerin the region."  Does that happen by attacking Iraq?  Turkey has been bombing Iraq and has sent foot soldiers into the country in violation of international law and Iraq's national sovereignty.  The Turkish  government loves to issue announcements claiming that they've killed X number of terrorists but they've yet to issue an announcement -- or apology -- when they kill civilians.  The true terrorist is the Turkish government.  RUDAW reports:

Turkish artillery pounded Bedihe village in Duhok province on Saturday, causing damage to civilian homes and lands, a local official told Rudaw.

"The bombing started around 6pm. They have so far targeted the village with six mortars, causing damage to 10 households," Sarbast Sabri, head of nearby Kani Masi town in the Amedi region of Duhok province, told Rudaw. "The artillery has also damaged groves and orchards of locals in the area."

Iraq faces many problems -- problems that appear to indicate they need a better prime minister than the one they have.  AP reports, "Iraq’s Prime Minister took a first step on Saturday to combat cross-border corruption that has long plagued the country’s frontiers as part of a reform plan to grapple with unprecedented financial shortfalls."  Since May 7th, Mustafa al-Kadhimihas been the prime minister and, again, the corruption predates him becoming prime minister -- by nearly two decades.  ARAB WEEKLY points out, "Every Iraqi premier has pledged new measures to fight corruption but few have been able to make a dent in the deep-rooted practices across the public and private sector."  His talk about ending corruption comes after his promise to hold the military members who have killed protesters accountable.  How's that going by the way?

BULLY BOY PRESS CEDRIC'S BIG MIX  -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

IF HE BECOMES PRESIDENT, JOE BIDEN CAN DO WHATEVER HE WANTS BECAUSE HE CLEARLY HAS NO GRIP ON REALITY.

NUMBERS ARE APPARENTLY WHATEVER HE SAYS THEY ARE.

120,000,000 OR 120,000 OR 2,000,000, JOE IS SENILE AND IF YOU PUT A SENILE PERSON IN THE WHITE HOUSE, THEY'RE GOING TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT -- AND PROBABLY NOT EVEN REALIZE IT.

According to WORLD OMETERS INFO, Iraq has had 62,275 cases of coronavirus with 2,567 deaths.  The CIA estimates Iraq's population (no census has been done in decades) to be 38 million.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned Monday that the COVID-19 pandemic provides new opportunities for the Islamic State extremist group, al-Qaida and their affiliates as well as neo-Nazis, white supremacists and hate groups.
The U.N. chief said it's too early to fully assess the implications of the coronavirus pandemic on terrorism, but all these groups seek to exploit divisions, local conflicts, failures in governing, and other grievances to advance their aims.
Guterres told the launch of United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week that the Islamic State group, which once controlled a vast swath of Syria and Iraq, is trying to reassert itself in both countries, ``while thousands of foreign terrorist fighters battle in the region.''
In other news, AL-MONITOR notes:

Notable Iraqi security analyst Hisham al-Hashimi was assassinated in Baghdad today, according to multiple reports.
On Monday, Agence France Presse reported that Hashimi was walking out of his Baghdad home when three gunmen on two motorcycles shot and killed him at close range.
Hashimi was a known and respected commentator on Iraqi affairs who was particularly knowledgable on the Islamic State. Just about an hour before his death, he tweeted that division in Iraq was the result of the ethnic and religious quota system put in place following the 2003 US invasion. The tweet, which some shared after his death, has now been liked more than 11,500 times.

Horrifying video of the assassination today of #Iraq security expert Hisham al-Hashimi. Washington Post reports about threats al-Hashimi had received from #Iran-backed militia groups recently. 1/2

These pictures today from the funeral of Hisham Al-hashimi in the city of Najaf in central Iraq - there was no official funeral by the Iraqi state, nor a military presence , these are bad signs of the performance of the new Iraqi government.
