Oops! She's caught again!

BULLY BOY PRESS &     CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

CRANKY CLINTON HAS BEEN CAUGHT IN YET ANOTHER LIE.

THIS TIME SHE'S BEEN CAUGHT LYING ABOUT WHEN SHE STARTED USING A NON-GOVERNMENT E-MAIL AND THE E-MAIL THAT PROVES IT ALSO PROVES SHE WAS WARNED ABOUT USING SUCH AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT.

REACHED FOR COMMENT, CRANKY CLINTON SCOFFED, "THE TRUTH DOESN'T MATTER.  I'M CRANKY CLINTON.  I OFFED VINCE FOSTER, I GOT AWAY WITH WHITEWATER, I CHEATED ON MY TAXES AND EVEN KICKED A DOG.  THEY NEVER MANAGE TO TAKE ME DOWN.  NEVER!"

FROM THE TCI WIRE:

In the ongoing Iraq War, the US government continues dropping bombs on Iraq.  Yesterday, the US Defense Dept announced/boasted/claimed:

Strikes in Iraq
Rocket artillery and attack, fighter, and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 17 strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of Iraq’s government:

-- Near Baghdadi, two strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL front end loader, an ISIL machine gun position, and an ISIL bed down location.

-- Near Haditha, a strike struck a large ISIL tactical unit and destroyed four ISIL staging areas.

-- Near Kirkuk, a strike struck a large ISIL tactical unit and destroyed four ISIL assembly areas and an ISIL supply cache.

-- Near Kisik, two strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL mortar position and three ISIL assembly areas.

-- Near Mosul, three strikes struck an ISIL headquarters, an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL assembly area and an ISIL vehicle.

-- Near Qayyarah, two strikes destroyed an ISIL vehicle and an ISIL used bridge section.

-- Near Ramadi, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL tactical vehicle and an ISIL front end loader.

-- Near Sultan Abdallah, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL mortar position.

-- Near Tal Afar, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL heavy machine gun position and an ISIL fighting position.

-- Near Hit, two strikes destroyed an ISIL staging area and an ISIL supply cache.

Task force officials define a strike as one or more kinetic events that occur in roughly the same geographic location to produce a single, sometimes cumulative, effect. Therefore, officials explained, a single aircraft delivering a single weapon against a lone ISIL vehicle is one strike, but so is multiple aircraft delivering dozens of weapons against buildings, vehicles and weapon systems in a compound, for example, having the cumulative effect of making those targets harder or impossible for ISIL to use. Accordingly, officials said, they do not report the number or type of aircraft employed in a strike, the number of munitions dropped in each strike, or the number of individual munition impact points against a target.

These bombings have been taking place daily since August 2014.  They've accomplished nothing.  Which is a good time to note THE DAILY BEAST'S Nancy A. Youssef's Tweet:

  • Overheard at the Pentagon: "The generals use the same playbook for every war. ...Strike from the air, send in SF, train locals."

  • One size fits all?

That might explain why the US has been unable to end any of the wars it started -- the Iraq War continues, the Afghanistan War continues and the Libyan War continues.

The US government is far too quick to go to war but when they do go they attempt the same cookie cutter pattern despite the lack of positive results.

Barack Obama said, when campaigning for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination in 2008, that he wanted to change the mindset.

Apparently, that desire -- like his desire to end the Iraq War -- faded shortly after he was sworn in as president during his first term.

    Hillary's secret

BULLY BOY PRESS &    CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

SHORT AND FAT BUT SHE STILL MANAGED TO CON MILLIONS OF AMERICANS.

REACHED FOR COMMENT THIS EVENING BY THESE REPORTERS, CRANKY CLINTON EXPLAINED THE SECRET OF HER SUCCESS.

"LIE," SHE EXPLAINED.  "LIE FREQUENTLY.  LIE OFTEN.  LIE BOLDLY.  JUST LIE.  IF YOU LIE, YOU WILL BE BELIEVED.  TRUST ME.  OR DON'T.  MAYBE I'M LYING.  CAN YOU TELL?  OF COURSE YOU CAN'T.  BECAUSE I AM THE BEST LIAR IN THE WORLD."

So what might a Hillary Clinton presidency look like on the evening news?

Andrea Mitchell:  Good evening, I'm Andrea Mitchell and this is NBC NIGHTLY NEWS WITH LESTER HOLT.  Lester is off tonight.  Our top story?  Former president Bill Clinton refuses to vacate the White House.  First up, we go to NBC analyst and host of MEET THE PRESS Chuck Todd. Chuck?

Chuck Todd: Andrea, they're calling it 14 Days of Do-Nothing.

Andrea Mitchell: Who's calling it that, Chuck?

Chuck Todd: Just me, so far, but I'm really hoping this catchs on.   It was 14 days ago that the world learned of Bill Clinton's affair with actress Bernadette Troy.  The scandal continues because of the inaction on the part of the White House and, today, Ms. Troy's announcement today that she will be selling copies of a sex tape with First Gentleman Bill Clinton.

Andrea Mitchell:  Now is this 'alleged sex tape' or has anyone actually viewed it?

Chuck Todd:  Thus far, no one has viewed it.  At midnight, it will begin selling and streaming at iTunes and Amazon.

Andrea Mitchell:  And there has been no response as of yet to the announcement or the affair.  Thank you, Chuck.  We'll come back to Chuck later in the program but for now we go to NBC News correspondent Michelle Kosinski who was at the White House earlier today when President Hillary Clinton was joined by UK Prime Minister David Cameron to address the issue of Iran's nuclear program.  But the only questions were about Bernadette Troy.  Michelle?

Michelle Kosinski:  You are correct on that, Andrea.  Finally facing a group of reporters, President Clinton was on the White House lawn this afternoon.  The press was told that she would speak and then Mr. Cameron would make a few remarks.  There would be no questions.  Someone, Andrea, forgot we have a free press.

Footage of President Hillary Clinton and David Cameron standing at a podium.

President Hillary Clinton: And so it is for this reason that we are giving Iran an ultmatium.  They have until midnight --

Reporter 1:  What about the sex tape!

Reporter 2:  Have you seen the sex tape, Madam President!

Reporter 3:  Are you and the First Gentleman sharing the same bedroom still!

Reporter 4:  Do you forgive him?

Michelle Kosinski:  President Clinton's remarks on Iran were a footnote to today's event.  Clearly, America wants to know what is going on.  More to the point, they want an answer to that lonely cry: "Do you forgive him?"  Back to you, Andrea.

Andrea Mitchell: Thank you, Michelle, for that report.  To grasp what it all means, we go back to NBC news analyst Chuck Todd.  Chuck, you heard Michelle's report.  What do you make of it?

Chuck Todd:  Clearly on Day 14 of Do-Nothing, the American people want answers.  They need answers.  Remember, this is not the first time Bill Clinton has cheated on the president.  But this is the first time it's happened -- or known to have happened -- since Hillary Clinton was sworn in as president.

Andrea Mitchell:  And what does it mean exactly?

Chuck Todd: Exactly?  My sources say that this was more than just a Lewinski -- much more.  There was penetration --

Andrea Mitchell: No, Chuck, what does it mean for the country?

Chuck Todd: I think what the American people are asking is, "Do you forgive him?"  Does President Clinton forgive her husband Bill?

Andrea Mitchell: Thank you for breaking that down, Chuck.  We now go to entertainment correspondent and TODAY SHOW host Savannah Guthrie.  Savannah, the whole country still wants to know who Bernadine Troy is?

Savannah Guthrie:  Well, Andrea, Bernadette Troy in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1988 and went on to a notable career with an episode of DONNY!, a background player on BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS! and contributions to many other shows that ended with an exclamation point.  Troy is possibly most recognized for her work with Tom Beregon on infomercials.

Andrea Mitchell: So she is acclaimed in her field?

Savannah Guthrie:  Yes, that is correct.  One observer said, and I'm quoting, "Bernadette is like a young Charo or Joey Heatheron before the drugs."

Chuck Todd: I said that!  Andrea, I said that.

Andrea Mitchell:  NBC News analyst Chuck Todd.  Chuck, I understand that you are now being cited as an expert on this topic?

Chuck Todd:  Yes, Andrea that is correct.  Now --

Andrea Mitchell:  Excuse me, Chuck, we have Richard Engel standing by.  NBC News chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel.  Richard, are you there?

Richard Engel: Yes, Andrea, I am there or, rather, I am here in downtown Baghdad where protests are breaking out across the region and the root cause of it may be the latest affair of former president Bill Clinton.  In Tehran, the protesters carried signs stating "YANKEE DEVIL WATCH WHERE YOU POKE THAT THING" while in Damascus some signs proclaimed, "YANKEE DEVIL STOP YOUR FORNICATION."

Andrea Mitchell: And, Richard, I understand that some foreign governments are watching this situation very closely.

Richard Engel:  Well in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, leader Kim Jong Un has said that President Hillary Clinton has been bloodied on the world stage insisting that her paralysis on the issue of her marriage is reflective of her larger failure to act on the world stage.  He declared today, and I quote, "Yankee devil Hillary is weak and now is the time to destroy the United States."

    Andrea Mitchell:  Chuck, analysis?

Chuck Todd:  It would appear President Clinton is being seen as a, quote, "Yankee devil."

Andrea Mitchell:  Insight!  We'll be right back after these commercial messages.

    She's a liar and senile

BULLY BOY PRESS &    CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

    CRANKY CLINTON CAN'T STOP LYING.

SHE'S BEEN CAUGHT AGAIN SAYING SHE DID NOT KNOW WHERE BERNIE SANDERS WAS WHEN SHE WAS LEADING HER LOSING BATTLE ON HEALTHCARE.

TURNS OUT, HE WAS RIGHT BEHIND HER.

SO SHE'S A LIAR AND SENILE.

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Oh, how the US government manipulates information.

Wednesday, Cheryl Pellerin with DOD News or Propaganda, wrote the following:

Leaders of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant who are captured by the Expeditionary Targeting Force and held for questioning will be detained by the force only for short periods of time and the detention will be coordinated with Iraqi authorities, a Pentagon spokesman said today.
Navy Capt. Jeff Davis told defense reporters here that ETF missions, first announced in October, are conducting operations as part of the coalition fight there against ISIL.

“One of the missions that we anticipate they will do is to capture a small number of ISIL leaders,” Davis said. “The detention of these [leaders] we anticipate will be very short-term [and] coordinated with Iraqi authorities.”

Well that's interesting where did it come from?

It came from the Defense Dept trying to seize the narrative.

Wednesday morning, they were still concerned that the US press might actually actually get off their lazy and useless asses and do their damn job.

The Defense Dept should never have sweated it because the US press never does their job.

Tuesday the Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing which we covered in Tuesday's Iraq snapshot, "Magical Bernie trumps Tired Hillary" and in Thursday's Iraq snapshot.

Three generals testified before the Committee, Gen Lloyd Austin (CENTCOM),  Gen Joseph Vogel (Special Operations Command) and Gen David Rodriguez (US Africa Command).  The Chair of the Committee is Senator John McCain, the Ranking Member is Senator Jack Reed.

What had the Defense Dept sweating bullets was the following exchange from that hearing.

Senator Kelly Ayotte:  I wanted to follow up on an important question.  Both General Rodriquez and General Votel, this is something I've actually asked both your predecessors about and my concern is if we capture Ayman al-Zawahiri or Baghdadi -- [Abu Bakr] al-Baghdadi tomorrow where will we detain these individuals under long term law of war detention -- most importantly to interrogate them to find out all that we need to know about al Qaeda and ISIS?  And as I asked your predecessor going back to 2011, I asked -- I asked General [Carter] Hamm, your predecessor in AFRICOM, what would happen if tomorrow we captured a member of al Qaeda in Africa?  And you know what he told me?  He said I'm going to need some lawyerly help on answering that one.  I also asked the same of Admiral  [William] McRaven, your predecessor, General Votel.  And he said to me that it would be very helpful if there was actually a facility that was designated for long term, law of war detention and interrogation.  So I guess my question to both of you is tomorrow, if we capture these individuals, given the phenomenal work that the men and women who serve underneath you do ever day, where are we going to interrogate them?  Do you know that?  Do you know what you would do with them?  Especially if you wanted to have a long term interrogation of them?

Gen Joseph Votel:  Senator, in my experiences, we've looked at operations where we're actually going to detains somebody we have had a plan in place before we actually conducted the operation for how we were going to potentially detain them and what their legal disposition would be -- whether that was back in the US courts --

Senator Kelly Ayotte:  No, General, we just recently captured someone in ISIS and as I understand it, they're not being -- they're being held short term and then they're going to be turned back to the Kurds.  So what about long term detention?  You would agree that long term interrogation is quite helpful, for example, in gathering the information that we needed to get [Osama] bin Laden.  That's what worries me

    Gen Joseph Votel:  I --

Senator Kelly Ayotte: What do we do in a long term setting?  Do we know?

Gen Joseph Votel:  I--I would agree that there is a requirement for long term detention, Senator.

Senator Kelly Ayotte: And do we know where that would be now?

Gen Joseph Votel:  I-I don't know that.  That is a politica -- a policy decision that I think is being debated.

Senator Kelly Ayotte:  I think it's a policy decision that has basically never been made under this administration.  It's one that has been left up in the air which means it's left up in the air in a way I think undermines our national security interest.

So a captured member of the Islamic State can't be held and will be turned back over to the Kurds.

You'd think the CBS EVENING NEWS would open with that news or NBC NIGHTLY NEWS or . . .

No one wanted to touch it.

The news was, for those who can't catch it, in Iraq a member of the Islamic State was captured, the US briefly interrogated him and would now be handing him back to the Kurds.  This was due to not having a facility and this did not seem, to Gen Joseph Vogel, to be the appropriate thing to do.

You can disagree with him, agree with him or have no opinion on what should be done.

    But it is news.

And news is what we're supposed to debate and discuss in a democracy in order to be informed citizens participating in our self-governance.

The day after the hearing, THE NEW YORK TIMES, for example, was front-paging 'news' like "Fasting Diets Are Gaining Acceptance" by Anahad O'Connor.

You know who does the most fasting in America?

    The extreme poor.

It's not 'trendy' or 'buzz worthy,' so it doesn't make it onto the front page of THE NEW YORK TIMES -- or inside.

Nor does news that really matters like the Tuesday Senate Armed Services Committee hearing.

Dum-Dum Drum takes it to the mattress

BULLY BOY PRESS &    CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

ANGRY OLD WHITE MAN KEVIN DRUM IS SPITTING MAD.

JORGE RAMOS, AT LAST NIGHT'S DEBATE, "BADGERED" POOR OLD CRANKY CLINTON.

    "BADGERED," OLD MAN DRUM HOLLERS.

CRANKY DID NOT ANSWER JORGE'S QUESTION.

AND IT UPSETS KEVIN DUM-DUM DRUM THAT SHE WAS FORCED TO.

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

    Changing topics . . .

In Iraq, the Iraqi Security Forces, which include Iraqi Army and Counter-Terrorism Services (CTS) forces, Kurdish Peshmerga, and various Sunni and Shia volunteer elements, with the support of U.S. and Coalition air operations and advisors and materiel donations, have effectively halted ISIL's advance . The enemy is now almost exclusively focused on defending his strongholds rather than projecting combat power. Additionally, ISIL's counter-attack capability has been reduced as a result of battlefield losses, although we see the group conducting deadly terrorist attacks against Iraqi forces in Anbar and west of Baghdad, and, worryingly, civilian targets -- including in areas far from its control, in Baghdad and parts of the Shia-populated south.

That's US CENTCOM commander Gen Lloyd Austin speaking at Tuesday's Senate Armed Services Committee which we covered in Tuesday's Iraq snapshot and this morning in "Magical Bernie trumps Tired Hillary."

Austin was one of three generals appearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee to offer testimony in the hearing.  The other two were  Gen Joseph Vogel (Special Operations Command) and Gen David Rodriguez (US Africa Command).  The Chair of the Committee is Senator John McCain, the Ranking Member is Senator Jack Reed.

The quoted section in bold above was from Austin's opening remarks.

The opening remarks are sometimes also referred to as the prepared remarks or the written testimony because witnesses are supposed to submit those to the Congressional committees in advance.  This allows members of Congress (and their staff) to pour over that prepared testimony in advance and to come up with questions to expand on issues being raised in that testimony or questions on issues that they see are not being covered in the written statements.

When Secretary of State John Kerry was a Senator, if he headed a Committee (such as the Senate Foreign Relations Committee), he would urge witnesses to summarize (briefly) their pages of written testimony instead of reading them word for word.

    He was the exception.

(And as Secretary of State, he himself reads every word dully and in monotone, eating up time and dragging each hearing down.  Were he the Chair of a Committee he was testifying before, he would cut himself off and tell himself to summarize the statement to save time.)

In most hearings, most witnesses still read every word.  They may alter a word or two -- often due to getting lost while reading out loud from the pages before them -- but they don't usually introduce new ideas.  There's a time limit for these opening statements and non-government officials will sometimes see the warning light flashing (indicating time is almost up) and try to quickly summarize the rest of their pages.

But for the most part, people stick to the written testimony when reading word for word.

So this is from Austin's prepared remarks:

We are making progress militarily in our efforts to defeat ISIL, as demonstrated by the recent victories in Ramadi and Shaddadi . However, military success will be lasting only if corresponding political progress is achieved in both Iraq and Syria . The Government of Iraq must take the necessary steps towards greater inclusiveness. Iraq will not remain a unified state long-term without the support of the major ethno-sectarian groups.

And we are noting that because it's important and it's something the State Dept (and that includes Barack's Special Envoy Brett McGurk) repeatedly forget to address publicly.

The White House continues to supply the Baghdad-based government in Iraq with weapons, US troops and money.

And it never says, "Haider al-Abadi, you've been prime minister since 2014 and we're not seeing any progress on inclusion.  If you don't stop the persecution of the Sunnis, we're not sending use these jets" or whatever.

Under Barack, the US State Dept doesn't do diplomacy.

While Austin's point is very, very important, he made another remark that was also highly important.

Gen Lloyd Austin:  Of note, the Kurish Peshmerga remain critical to our efforts on the ground in the northern part of the country.  They are irreplaceable and we must do all that we can to support them.

Some readers will agree with him on that, some won't.

Most members of the US Congress -- Democrats and Republicans -- will agree with that remark.

    Does the White House?

    Actually, no, it does not.

Nor does the US State Dept which tries to pretend it's being 'impartial' while toadying to the Baghdad-based government.

    That makes the statement important.

You know what else makes it important?

It appears no where in his written testimony.

He wasn't two minutes into his opening remarks when he made this comment, reading from a version of his opening remarks that was pretty much word-for-word what he submitted (and what will be in the official record -- the written testimony is put into the official record).

    But that passage?

His comments on the Peshmerga did not appear in the submitted remarks.

    Why?

Because the remarks would not have been cleared for submission had the statement appeared in them.

The official position of the administration goes against those remarks -- as is clear in every State Dept press briefing.

BULLY BOY PRESS &    CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

WILL CRANKY CLINTON DROP OUT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE IF SHE IS INDICTED?

    HELL NO!

REACHED FOR COMMENT, CRANKY TOLD THESE REPORTERS, "MY BABY DON'T MESS AROUND -- NO, BARRY O WOULD PARDON ME.  IF I WAS INDICTED, BARRY O WOULD IMMEDIATELY PARDON ME BECAUSE I GOTS IT LIKE THAT, YOU SEE.  I GOTS ALL THIS JUNK IN THE TRUNK.  MAMA'S MILK SHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD, YEAH!"

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

And if things are going so well, why was a Senate Committee told today that more US troops would be needed in Iraq to take back Mosul from the Islamic State?

Three generals appeared before the Senate Armed Services Committee today:  Gen Joseph Vogel (Special Operations Command), Gen David Rodriguez (US Africa Command) and Gen Lloyd Austin (CENTCOM).  The Chair of the Committee is Senator John McCain, the Ranking Member is Senator Jack Reed.

    Here's the key exchange.

Senator Mike Rounds:  General Austin with regards to the challenges surrounding the retaking Mosul and Raqqa by December of this year coming up.  You've currently got about 4,000 ground forces, if I'm correct.  Is that enough?  Do you have enough to assist in your plans to retake Mosul and Raqqa?

Gen Lloyd Austin:  The, uh, the approach that we have used -- and continue to use, as you know, Senator, to use the indigenous forces in the operations on the ground and enable those forces with out aieral fires and other enablers.  As we look towards Raqqa and other and Mosul clearly there will be things that we want to do to, uh, increase the capability a bit to, uh -- to, uh increase the pace of operations and that will require some additional capability and we've gone through and done some analysis to see what types of -- what types of things we need to provide and that's, uh, we've made those recommendations.

Senator Mike Rounds:  Could you share those recommendations with this Committee?

Gen Lloyd Austin:  Uh, no, sir.  I would not care to do so because I have just provided those to my -- to my leadership.

Senator Mike Rounds:  But you have -- you have made those recommendations and you're waiting on a response to your recommendations at this time?

Gen Lloyd Austin:  Yes, sir, it's -- it'll work its way up the chain here.

Senator Mike Rounds:  If you were allowed to have, uh, more ground troops what would be the capabilities that you could accomplish?  Or what could you accomplish if you had more individuals on the ground there

Gen Lloyd Austin:  We could, uh, develop more, better human intelligence.  We could, uh, we could perhaps provide, uh, uh, more advise and assist teams at various levels.  We could, uh, we could increase, uh, our assistance in terms of providing help with some logistical issues and, uh, we could increase some elements of the special operations footprint.

Senator Mike Rounds:  Assuming we were successful in retaking both of those two towns, what then? Clearly, it's broken.  So you come back in and reestablish order and so forth -- when we take them back do we have a plan in place -- a plan that we want to execute to bring back in a sense of order to those communities?  What does it look like right now and what part would we play?

Gen Lloyd Austin:  Uhm, the short answer is "yes," Senator. First of all, we will -- the Iraqis will take back uh, uh, Mosul and we will take back -- we will work with the Syrian indigenous forces to take back Raqqa as well.  Uh, as you've seen us do, as they've taken back towns in Iraq, that includes, uh, Ramadi, Baiji, Tikrit, uh, Sinjar and other places the effort has been to reestablish order in those places and then immediately try to uh, uh, do what's necessary to repair damage and make sure that, uh, that we're taking care of the people and the people are able to move back in and resume their lives.

So that's Gen Lloyd Austin playing coy and hinting about his recommendation to send more US troops to Iraq while insisting he can't really talk about it because it's going up the chain of command.

He's also telling fantasies of liberation where Ramadi and Tikrit were peacefully liberated, where the homes weren't trashed, the stores and homes looted and civilians harmed or killed.

Tuesday, War Hawk Hillary Clinton managed to dupe enough people to win the Democratic Party primary in seven out of eleven states.  Or, as one friend put it, supposed Ms. Inevitable managed to lose four states to Senator Bernie Sanders:  Oklahoma, Vermont, Colorado and Minnesota.  Oklahoma must have been especially painful for Hillary to lose.  In 2008, Hillary carried Oklahoma.  She won with 55% of the voters to Barack's 31%.

    But Tuesday?

Bernie won the state by 51%.

From 55% in 2008, Hillary's support in Oklahoma dropped to 41.5%.

Ms. Inevitable is far, far from Ms. Incredible.

A point underscored today when Sanders defeated her in Kansas.

And her inability to close the deal is a reality a number of people have noted this week on Twitter because Incredible People don't back illegal wars.

  • . u acknowledge that support for Iraq War was a mistake, so why did you encourage military option in Libya?

  • But you can't have a rush of reality without a backlash of whoring.

    Enter the courtesan.

    Michelle Manning Barrish.

Is she know for anything besides who she slept with?

    Supposedly, she's an activist.

I've been speaking out against the Iraq War since February 2003.

I never heard of her doing any activism.  (MOVEON commercials are not activism.)

But then I don't consider sleeping with rich men to be radical action.  Although maybe big divorce settlements count as one way of redistributing the wealth?

She shows up at -- where else -- THE HUFFINGTON POST to insist that she's always been against the Iraq War, to toss around mentions of her "brother" repeatedly (is she trying to hide behind him) and insist that when Hillary is crowned the nominee, everyone must unite behind her.

Let's be really clear on that.

    Michelle Manning Barish?

She's not running a damn thing.

She needs to sit her tired  ass down already.

    No one asked her.

    Your vote is your vote.

    It's not her vote.

No one needs anyone to tell them how to vote -- and when someone tries to tell you how to vote, they need to be told to mind their own damn business.

    Your vote belongs to you.

You can use it to vote for Hillary, to vote for Donald Trump, to vote for Jerry White, to vote for whomever.

You can use your vote by not voting because you don't feel anyone has earned your vote.

If Michelle wants to stick to why she's supporting Hillaary, that's fine.

But when she thinks she has any right to tell anyone else how to vote?

She needs to grasp that if we need to know where to get vast amounts of collagen shot into our lips, then she's out go to.

But to know how to vote?

    No.

You have to be at least 18 to vote in the United States.  Which means every voter in the US is an adult.

No adult needs to be told how to vote.

Cranky says he'll swim with the fishes

BULLY BOY PRESS &   CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

CRANKY CLINTON ISN'T PLEASED TO LEARN A FORMER AID HAS MADE AN IMMUNITY DEAL WITH THE FBI.

HOLDING COURT AT A TABLE LAST NIGHT AT THE OLIVE GARDEN (WHICH SHE INSISTED UPON CALLING "LITTLE ITALY"), CRANKY WAS CLEAR WHAT HAPPENS TO SONG BIRDS.

"YOU SING LIKE A CANARY," CRANKY SAID IN HER BEST FAILED ATTEMPT AT MARLON BRANDO, "YOU SWIM WITH THE FISHES.  THE FISHES.  NOBODY TURNS STATE EVIDENCE ON THE ODD MOTHER, NOBODY.  I'M THE MOTHER OF ALL MOTHERS, I'M THE MOTHER FIXING TO RUN THIS COUNTRY.  I GOT IT ALL PLANNED AND NO LITTLE PISHER WILL BRING ME DOWN.  NOW EAT SOME OF MY BREAD. IT'S OKAY.  I GOT THE ENDLESS BREAD AND SALAD BOWL.  EAT."

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Tuesday, War Hawk Hillary Clinton managed to dupe enough people to win the Democratic Party primary in seven out of eleven states.

    Today?

Her e-mail scandal continues to haunt.  And a new development has many people talking -- a former employee has made a deal to testify with the FBI to talk in exchange for immunity.   Judge Andrew P. Napolitano (WASHINGTON TIMES) offers his analysis which includes:

It is fair to call this a scandal because it consists of the public revelation of the private and probably criminal misdeeds of the nation’s chief diplomat during President Obama’s first term in office. Mrs. Clinton’s job as secretary of state was to keep secrets. Instead, she exposed them to friend and foe. The exposure of state secrets, either intentionally or negligently, constitutes the crime of espionage. For the secretary of state to have committed espionage is, quite simply, scandalous.
We are not addressing just a handful of emails. To date, the State Department has revealed the presence of more than 2,000 emails on her private server that contained state secrets — and four that were select access privilege, or SAP. The SAP emails require special codes in order to access them. The codes change continually, and very few people in the government have the codes. SAP is a subcategory of “top secret,” and it constitutes the highest level of protected secrecy, for the utmost protection of the government’s gravest secrets. It is unheard of for SAP-level data to reside in a non-secure, vulnerable venue — yet that is where Mrs. Clinton caused four SAPs to reside.
Mrs. Clinton’s allies in the State Department have perpetrated the myth that the 2,000 emails were recently upgraded to reflect their secret contents. That is untrue. The emails possess secret status by virtue of their contents, not because of any markings on them. Mrs. Clinton had a legal obligation to recognize state secrets when she saw them, no matter their markings or non-markings. On her first day on the job, she swore under oath that she recognized and understood that legal obligation and she promised to comply with it. She did not comply.

That's Natpolitano's view.  Legal expert and international law professor Francis A. Boyle shared his thoughts on Cranky Clinton on DIALOGOS RADIO (link is text and audio):

Hillary Clinton is a psychopath and a war criminal, [who said] “we came, we saw, he died,” mimicking Julius Ceasar and laughing hysterically after Colonel Kaddafi, my former client, was sodomized with a knife and beaten to death. She’s a certified psychopath and war criminal.

On the immunity deal, Adam Goldman (Washington Post) reports:

The Justice Department has granted immunity to the former State Department staffer who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private email server as part of a criminal investigation into the possible mishandling of classified information, according to a senior law enforcement official.

The official said the FBI had secured the cooperation of Bryan Pagliano, who worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before setting up the server in her New York home in 2009.

Pagliano wasn't always agreeable to talking.  Alexandra Klausner (DAILY MAIL) explains:

First he said he would invoke his Fifth Amendment rights but now the IT specialist, who set up Hillary Clinton's controversial private email server, is ready to cooperate with the FBI.
In doing so, Bryan Pagliano, 39, has been granted immunity by the Justice Department as it continues its criminal investigation into whether or not the current Democratic Presidential candidate mishandled classified information.
The immunity deal has many observers commenting.  Chris Cillizza (WASHINGTON POST) offers:

The kindest possible reading of this news for Clinton is that Pagliano was simply nervous to talk about how -- and why -- he had set up the email server, and granting him immunity lets him speak freely without any concern that he might get into trouble.
Maybe. But it's my strong impression that the Justice Department doesn't go around granting immunity to people unless the person getting the immunity may be able to shed light on an important part of the investigation. After all, if Pagliano a) knew nothing or b) did nothing wrong, why would he need immunity to talk to the FBI?

Though many are making similar conclusions, not all observers are.  Matt Zapotosky (WASHINGTON POST) notes:

That is because the line between what is classified and what is not is “not inherently obvious,” and charging the former secretary of state would require prosecutors to prove that she knew what she was handling crossed that line, said Barry J. Pollack, a white-collar criminal defense lawyer at Miller & Chevalier who defended convicted CIA leaker Jeffrey Sterling

“If something has not been deemed classified, you’re asking a person to intuit how somebody else would make a subjective decision and hold that person responsible for the fact that they didn’t anticipate that somebody else might view the document as classified,” he said. “It’s almost a Rorschach test. Different people view it differently.”

Despite the above and so much more, the media chorus is for . . . Senator Bernie Sanders to see his campaign as over.
