Cleaning out the washer woan

  • BULLY BOY PRESS &     CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

  • SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS JUST PROVIDED AMERICA WITH ANOTHER REASON TO SUPPORT HIM: IF HE WINS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY'S PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION, HE'LL GET RID OF DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ AS D.N.C. CHAIR.

REACHED FOR COMMENT, THE GREASE FACED WASHER WOMAN DEBBIE TOLD THESE REPORTERS, "I AM A MONSTER WITH FEELINGS!  DON'T PEOPLE REALIZE THAT!  MONSTERS HAVE FEELINGS TOO!  AND GREASY FACES!  I HAVE A GREASY FACE! AND GREASY HAIR!  WHY AM I SO DISGUSTING!  WHY!"

Today, the US destroys Iraq with bombings, for years it has destroyed Iraq by installing 'leaders.'

Shi'ites who were too chicken to fight for Iraq, fled it and returned after the US-led invasion.

These cowards -- and all their pathetic, deep-rooted fears -- were installed as 'leaders.'

And they've destroyed the country with their petty nonsense and their night time terrors.

    Take the pathetic Ibrahim al-Jaafari.

Today, he's the Minister of Foreign Affairs. His other positions since 2003 would include prime minister of Iraq.

Since 2003 because the Shi'ite fled Iraq in 1980.  First he ran to Iran and spent nearly a decade there only to move on to London in 1989.

But when it was safe to come back to Iraq, the coward did and wanted to be a leader because what says "leader" more than fleeing while wetting your pants?

Today, Ibrahim's in the news for demanding Jordan turn Raghad Saddam Hussein al-Majid over to Iraq.

    Who?

She's the eldest daughter of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

Hussein was overthrown in the 2003 US-led invasion and later executed (December 30, 2006).

    And his oldest daughter?

    ASHARQ AL-AWSAT reported in 2010:

Raghad Saddam Hussein, the eldest daughter of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein fled to Jordan on two separate occasions in her life. Raghad Hussein first fled to Jordan in 1995 along with her husband Hussein Kamel al-Majid who defected from Iraq along with Rana Saddam Hussein and her husband Saddam Kamel al-Majid. Raghad Hussein fled to Jordan for a second time in 2003 following the US invasion of Iraq and the collapse of her father’s regime. Raghad Hussein fled in fear of punishment; in 1995 she fled in order to save her husband’s life from her brother Uday, while in 2003 she fled in fear of the Iraqi people taking revenge against her father by attacking her. Raghad Hussein fled to Amman, where she was placed under the protection of the Jordanian monarch. In 1995, Jordanian King Hussein treated Raghad and Rana Hussein as his own two daughters, and they lived with the Jordanian royals in the royal palace. Whilst in 2003, King Abdullah placed Raghad Hussein under his protection as his guest.

In 2007, INTERPOL issued a Red Notice (which many in the press falsely called an arrest warrant) but BBC NEWS noted the Red Notice "does not legally oblige Jordan or any other country to act."

Not only that but Arabic and Islamic law are both on Raghad's side -- a detail often overlooked by the press.

In 2006, Nouri al-Maliki repeatedly accused of her funding the insurgency and, years later, the Iraqi government began insisting that she was funding the Islamic State.

Over ten years of accusations and nothing to show for it but high drama.

THE JERUSALEM POST notes, "In a statement released Wednesday following a meeting between the Jordanian consul in the city of Irbil and senior Iraqi officials, Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said: 'Iraq asked Jordan to coordinate the extradition of people residing in its territory who are wanted by the Iraqi judicial system'."

Nothing's ever been proven regarding Raghad Hussein and she's a guest of the King of Jordan who, following Arabic and Islamic law, is under no legal obligation to hand her over to Iraq.

This blood lust for vengeance is why Iraq cannot move forward.

Mohammad Tayseer and Dana Khraiche (BLOOMBERG NEWS) report, "Iraq has reached a $5.4 billion, three-year loan agreement with the International Monetary Fund to help OPEC’s second-biggest producer repair public finances damaged by the plunge in oil prices and war with Islamic State militants."

The revenge fantasies, where the daughter of Saddam Hussein must be captured and flogged in the streets of Baghdad?

They are raw meat tossed to the masses to distract them from the ongoing corruption in Iraq.

Billions of dollars have disappeared from the country's coffers as a result of corrupt politicians and officials.

Rather than fretting over the daughter of Saddam Hussein, they might ask how Nouri al-Maliki's son ended up with all those sports cars and residences outside of Iraq.

Where did that money come from?

How did Nouri's two terms as prime minister of Iraq leave him such a wealthy man?

Those are questions that need to be asked.

The Iraqi people live in squalor.

They have no dependable public services.

Baghdad floods in the raining season -- water up to the knees in some sections (including Sadr City) and that's due to the crumbling public infrastructure.

The corruption is not a secret.

There have been US Congressional hearings on the topic going back to the years when Bully Boy Bush occupied the White House.

    Billions have been stolen.

And now the IMF is getting their hooks into Iraq.

    THE JORDAN TIMES reports:

The IMF $5.4 billion loan to Iraq will have an annual interest rate of 1.5 per cent, Iraq's Central Bank Governor Ali Al Alak said at a press conference, following a week of talks with IMF officials in Jordan, Reuters reported.
The IMF deal will allow Iraq to secure additional financial aid of around $15 billion over the next three years, including securing international bonds, according to [Iraq's Finance Minister Hoshiyar] Zebari.

At this late stage, who's still pretending that the IMF helps out countries in trouble?

After Argentina, who still believes that lie?

    Cranky Clinton releases some truth

  • BULLY BOY PRESS &     CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

  • CRANKY CLINTON'S WELL PAID SOCK PUPPETS ARE GETTING EXPOSED.

CRANKY RESPONDS THAT ANYONE WHO THOUGHT THERE WAS ANYTHING GRASS ROOTS ABOUT HER DESERVES TO BE DISAPPOINTED.

"LOOK," SHE TOLD THESE REPORTERS BETWEEN FARTS IN HER DAILY AFTERNOON GAS RELIEF, "I'M NOT A POPULIST.  I DON'T EVEN LIKE PEOPLE. I MEAN, I WANT THEIR VOTES BUT NO ONE SHOULD EXPECT ME TO TALK TO THEM OR ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEM.  I'M CRANKY CLINTON.  THAT MEANS SOMETHING, YOU KNOW?  AND PEOPLE?  WELL THEY'RE JUST SO DARN STUPID -- WOOPS, THAT WAS A STINKY ONE."

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

In Iraq today, Haider al-Abadi, US-installed prime minister, gave a speech broadcast on state television.  ALSUMARIA reports he expressed dismay over the ongoing political crisis and spoke of the plan (hope?) to liberate Mosul.

For those who have forgotten the Sunni terrorist group the Islamic State seized control of Mosul in June of 2014.  The two year anniversary approaches.

    Where's that liberation effort?

    It starts.

    It stops.

Two years that Mosul's been held and controlled by the Islamic State.

This as Corey Dickstein (STARS AND STRIPES) reports:

Roughly half of Iraq’s American-trained security forces are stationed in and around Baghdad to protect the country’s capital, where recent political turmoil was followed this week by a wave of terrorist attacks, a U.S. military spokesman said Friday.

Half the forces are protecting Baghdad?

There's your clue that Haider's government is not working.

Not to mention the fact that last month, with all that Baghdad protection, Moqtada al-Sadr's zombies still managed to storm the Green Zone and storm Parliament.

    Haider al-Abadi is a failure.

Nouri al-Maliki, former prime minister and forever thug, used his second term as prime minister (2010 through 2014) to harden divisions along sectarian lines.  The Shi'ite politician went after Sunnis.  He persecuted them.

They protested and did so for over a year and never got a fraction of the world press' attention that Moqtada al-Sadr's zombies got for one Saturday faux-test.

The world has turned its eye away from Iraq, yes.  But worse was it turned its back on the Sunni suffering.

The Sunni people were persecuted. they were disappeared, they were taken away from crimes that others were alleged to have committed (Shi'ite forces show up to arrest a man and he's not there, they take a parent, a wife, a child instead), the Sunni politicians had their homes circled by tanks, at what point does the world pay attention?

In March of 2013, activists in Samarra put their message on display.

    From Samarra من سامراء

"Obama, If you Cannot Hear Us Can you Not See Us?"

They even made it real simple, they put in English in the hopes that the west would notice and carry the message.

    That didn't happen.

    What did happen?

For one thing, the following month, Sunnis would be slaughtered at a protest elsewhere.

April 23, 2013 massacre of a sit-in in Hawija which resulted from  Nouri's federal forces storming in.  Alsumaria noted Kirkuk's Department of Health (Hawija is in Kirkuk)  announced 50 activists have died and 110 were injured in the assault.   AFP reported the death toll eventually (as some wounded died) rose to 53 dead.   UNICEF noted that the dead included 8 children (twelve more were injured).

And the west yawned, if they bothered to acknowledge the massacre at all.

How did a Sunni terrorist group like the Islamic State flow into Iraq and set up roots there?

Because you had a government that was persecuting and killing the Sunnis.

    Sympathy was created.

They were able to present themselves as "defenders."

And they were able to seize that role because the world didn't care.

The White House didn't give a damn.

They installed Nouri for a second term (after he lost the 2010 election) and they looked the other way.

    They never condemned anything.

They didn't even condemn the massacre in Hawija -- which was only a larger scale version of events that repeatedly took place.

That's why the Islamic State was able to take root in Iraq.

And until this is dealt with, there is no solution or moving forward in Iraq.

I guess the Iraqi government could kill off every Sunni in Iraq and maybe then they could 'resolve' the issue.

    And possibly that's the 'plan'?

But the only way to have a peaceful solution in Iraq is to end the persecution of the Sunnis and allow for a true partnership to take place.

    Does Haider al-Abadi grasp that?

There's no indication that he does.

Of today's speech, PRESS TV reports he declared, "The political conflict among politicians and their impact on the brave security forces permits acts of terrorism to occur."

  • WHEN CRANKY CLINTON WAS SECRETARY OF STATE AND CHERYL MILLS CALLED HER BUT COULDN'T REACH HER ON A SECURE LINE, THE ELDERLY WOMAN GREW FRUSTRATED WITH TECHNOLOGY AND TOLD CHERYL MILLS, "I GIVE UP. CALL ME ON MY HOME PHONE #."

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Bombings slammed Iraq today. Jane Onyanga-Omara (USA TODAY) reports, "Three different car bombings in Baghdad Wednesday killed at least 93 people and wounded upwards of 165 in one of the deadliest days in Iraq this year, according to media reports."  Jomana Karadsheh, Joshua Berlinger and Ashley Fantz (CNN) explain, "The Sunni terror group ISIS says it's behind a series of attacks in Iraq's capital Wednesday [. . .]"  AL MADA notes they're the deadliest bombings in Iraq so far this year.  GULF DIGITAL NEWS includes the reactions of some Iraqis:

"The state is in a conflict over (government positions) and the people are the victims," said a man named Abu Ali. "The politicians are behind the explosion."
Abu Muntadhar echoed his anger. "The state is responsible for the bombings that hit civilians," the local resident said. The politicians "should all get out".

Ban Ki-Moon is the Secretary-General of the United Nations.  His Special Representative for Iraq, Jan Kubis, stated:

These are cowardly terrorist attacks on civilians who have done nothing but going about their normal daily lives. Such acts of terrorist violence are certainly against all the principles of decency and humanity, and as such must be strongly condemned. I call on the authorities to do their utmost to quickly bring the perpetrators to justice, and express my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Human Rights Watch's Joe Stork declared, "Once again ISIS has carried out a devastating attack designed to inflict maximum death and suffering on ordinary Iraqis.  The presence of some militia – even if true – cannot possibly justify this latest ISIS atrocity." NATIONAL IRAQI NEWS AGENCY adds that Iraqiya leader Ayad Allawi condemned the bombings-- including the one in Baquba -- as terrorist actions.

  • is crying now. It's raining.

  • A mute, apathetic, & idle world watches dying. Other lives seem to matter more.

    The bombings?

First,  BBC News notes, "A car bomb at a crowded Baghdad market has killed at least 64 people, officials say, in one of the worst recent attacks in the Iraqi capital." Sinan Salaheddin (AP) describes the scene, "The street was stained red with blood in many places and the facades of several buildings were heavily damaged. Smoke billowed from ground-level stores which had been gutted out by the explosion."

  • SOME ARE SAYING CRANKY CLINTON IS NOT A SURE THING.

REACHED FOR COMMENT, CRANKY EXPRESSED JUST HOW OFFENDED SHE WAS BY THIS COMMENT DECLARING, "I AM OFFENDED BY THIS COMMENT.  I AM GROSSLY OFFENDED.  IT IS OFFENSIVE."

WIPING SWEAT FROM HER BROW, CRANKY TOOK A DEEP BREATH AND SHOOK HER HEAD BEFORE CONTINUING.

"I'VE BEEN CALLED A LOT OF INSULTING NAMES THIS GO ROUND BUT FOR ANYONE TO DARE SAY I AM NOT A SURE THING?  EXCUSE ME, DID THEY TALK TO ALL MY HIGH SCHOOL BOYFRIENDS?  HOW ABOUT THE JANITOR?  HILLARY DIANE RODHAM WAS ALWAYS KNOWN AS A SURE THING.  SOME EVEN CALLED ME 'THE BIG EASY.'  BUT DO THEY WRITE ABOUT THAT?  NO, THEY JUST INSULT ME!  COME ON, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!"

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

The Iraq War has not ended.

Whores started it and whores continue it.

And whores actually make the news for their whoring today.

First up, too old to be a himbo, John Aravosis.  By his own account, he failed as a blogger.  He bid it farewell in a post most noted for the use of "I" and "me" -- in fact it may have set a record for the number of times those two words appeared in a blog post.  He was off now, he insisted, for a new road, a new career with the United Nations.

    He wasn't successful there either.

So now he's returned to blogging.

And he's whoring for Hillary because he's just that trashy.

And to whore for Hillary who voted for the Iraq War in 2002 and publicly championed it for years afterwards and only came out against the surge -- as former US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates revealed in DUTY -- because she thought it would look good for her politically, to help vanish Hillary's huge Iraq problem, John Aravosis decided to Tweet that he didn't even remember where he stood in 2003 on the Iraq War.

As Ben Norton (SALON) details, that whorish lie was greeted with at tremendous backlash.

An array of Twitter users criticized the blogger for allegedly forgetting what his position was on the critical historical moment.

“I joke that pundits have suffered brain damage,” comedian @Trillburne said, but Aravosis should “see a doctor.”
Trillburne followed up writing a “timeline of Proper and Serious opinions about the Iraq War,” a satirical chronology depicting how the commentariat whitewashed the U.S.’s illegal invasion and occupation of a sovereign country, destroying Iraq’s government, leading to the deaths of at least 1 million people, destabilizing the Middle East and creating a sectarian civil war that gave rise to extremist groups like al-Qaeda and eventually ISIS.

The dirty whore got caught without his clothes and the whole world laughs.

AL BAWABA reports on it and notes:

    Aravosis's Twitter followers immediately pounced.
"You were for it. If you were sentient & against it, you'd never forget," wrote one
"Not to be rude, but, serious question: are you in the wrong business?" wrote another, which apparently angered Aravosis.

The whole world is laughing at him.

That's what happens when you get caught whoring with a politician.

    He is now a disgrace.

And he brought it on himself.

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

Since August 2014, the US government has bombed Iraq non-stop.

The Islamic State has not been defeated.

But two US service members have died in Iraq this week alone.

Tuesday, US Navy SEAL Charles Keating IV was killed in Iraq.

    Friday, CNN reported:

An American service member died of a non-combat injury in Iraq on Friday.
The U.S.-led coalition announced the death but did not immediately name the service member. A Defense Department official said Saturday that the service member is American but did not provide further details.

    Non-combat injury.

Of course, the White House spent last week insisting Keating's death wasn't a combat injury.

Regardless, two Americans dead in the never ending war on Iraq because Barack, like Bully Boy Bush before, doesn't have the good sense on how to end a war.

From Tuesday's White House press briefing moderated by spokesperson Josh Earnest:

Q    Sure, thank you.  On the death of the U.S. Navy SEAL in Iraq, is there any reaction from the President to that, or expression of condolence?  And can you tell us when he was informed about that?

MR. EARNEST:  Darlene, I can tell you that the President has been briefed on this incident, and everyone here at the White House, including the First Family, extends our condolences to the family of the servicemember that was killed today in northern Iraq.  This individual is the third U.S. servicemember killed in action since the beginning of Operation Inherent Resolve, and this servicemember’s death reminds us of the risks our brave men and women in uniform face every single day.

    Reminded of the risks involved?

    I don't think so.

I think Barack's been babied and coddled and spared the risks involved.

History will not be so indulgent.

He will be the liar who campaigned for the presidency insisting he would end the Iraq War but did not, in fact, end the Iraq War.

The latest wave of bombings began in August of 2014 and have continued daily.

They've not 'won' any war, have they?

What if all that energy had been spent -- or even half of it -- working towards a diplomatic solution?

What if Barack had spent two years working on

    Ben Connable (NATIONAL INTEREST) argues:

Three years of engagement with Sunni Arab Iraqis, analysis of Sunni Iraqi media and a recent trip to Baghdad with former ambassador Ryan Crocker’s Task Force for the Future of Iraq have convinced me of two things. First, most Sunni and a number of Shia Arabs are hungry for more direct U.S. involvement in the Iraq’s political reconciliation process. Second, while Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi has genuine intent to foster reconciliation, he does not have the political power to make it happen. Worse, as he struggles to form a new cabinet, he is rapidly losing the support of the Iraqi leaders he will most need to effect change. While the winds of political influence can quickly shift in Baghdad, it seems most likely that reconciliation will remain at best a secondary issue while the government contends with Sadrist protestors, wavering reform efforts and the omnipresent threat of Shia militias. These “alligators closest to the boat” continue to distract from the crucial process of reconciling the Sunnis with their government. It is time for the United States to step in and take the lead for reconciliation in order to bolster the tactical fight against ISIL and to ensure Iraq does not further destabilize.

Two years focusing on diplomacy?  Two years easing Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi towards national reconciliation in Iraq?  Tying in weapons shipments to concrete achievements towards national reconciliation?

That could have had an impact.

It could have destroyed any justification for the Islamic State being in Iraq.

They get their support as a response to the persecution of Sunnis in Iraq.

National reconciliation is not a new goal of the US government.

When Congress demanded Bully Boy Bush provide measurements for measuring "success" in Iraq (the White House benchmarks), national reconciliation was on that short list.

But nearly a decade later and there's been no national reconciliation.

Failure to achieve that was supposed to result in the US government cutting off aid to Iraq -- financial and military.

    Never happened.

Maybe members of Congress could explain why?

Back in September of 2007, Maura Reynolds (LOS ANGELES TIMES) reports:

The report on the benchmarks was mandated by Congress this year as a condition for continuing to fund military operations in Iraq.
But the specific measures, including legislative goals for the Iraqi parliament, were first outlined last year by the Iraqi government and embraced by Bush in January.
Between July and September, the Iraqi government showed significant improvement on one benchmark: legislation to address the status of those who had belonged to Saddam Hussein's ruling Baath Party. In late August, the leaders of Iraq's five main political groups agreed on draft legislation, which the administration considered adequate to move the issue to the "satisfactory progress" category in the report.
However, the deal still must be adopted by the Iraqi parliament, and its fate remains uncertain.
In a conference call with reporters, Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a presidential candidate, said that after months of anticipation, the benchmark report was disappointing.
"You don't even have to go to the benchmarks to realize what an abject failure this policy has been," Biden said.

Joe Biden was right in 2007 but those words also can be applied to the current White House policy.

And that draft legislation on the Ba'ath Party?

    Never passed.

Nine years later and it's still not passed.

So maybe the US Congress want to explain why the measurements were never applied as they were supposed to be?  Or why the Iraq War continues to be funded?

    She made lemonade

BULLY BOY PRESS &     CEDRIC'S BIG MIX -- THE KOOL AID TABLE

CRANKY CLINTON IS SEEN AS IFFY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS (ALL OF WHICH ARE EVIDENT ON HER FACE).

RESPONDING TO ALLEGATIONS, CRANKY INSISTED THAT SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THE BEST CANDIDATE, "I JUST HAVE TO BE THE CANDIDATE.  TRUST ME, I KNOW HOW TO FIX AN ELECTION.  WHEN YOUR HUSBAND CHEATS ON YOU, YOU TAKE UP HOBBIES TO FILL YOUR TIME."

    FROM THE TCI WIRE:

    Starting with THE NEWSHOUR (PBS):

JUDY WOODRUFF: In the day’s other news: Islamic State fighters killed a U.S. Navy SEAL in Northern Iraq. The ISIS attack near the city of Mosul was the biggest in months by the militants. They broke through Kurdish militia forces before being driven off. U.S. officials said the SEAL was there in an advisory role.

JOSH EARNEST, White House Press Secretary: You had an individual who wasn’t in a combat mission come under withering attack from enemy forces. He was in a combat situation. He was prepared to deal with it, but, unfortunately, under a complex attack, he was killed. And it’s tragic.

JUDY WOODRUFF: In all, three Americans have been killed in combat since the anti-ISIS campaign began in 2014.

Does anyone else want to slap Josh Earnest's smug, fat face?  It was combat.  "He was prepared to deal with it."  Can he just close his mouth in shame about right now?

The lies that this White House will tell to avoid guilt and blame is amazing.

The only thing more amazing is the cowed and cowardly US press.

You wasted a full hour on crap -- all it was was crap -- and failed to explore Iraq.

But then exploring Iraq would mean that you used some of those US tax dollars that you get to actually pay for journalism and not just present talking heads and pretending that chat & chews are journalism.  PBS moves further and further from actual reporting every year.  That's nothing to proud of.

9 sentences.  That's all they could offer.  Couldn't even quote US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter who broke the news this morning and who called it what it was: Combat.

    9 sentences late this evening.

When the death was known as Americans were waking up this morning.

    From this morning's entry:

REUTERS reports, "A member of the US armed services has been killed in northern Iraq, the country’s defence secretary, Ash Carter, said."
Barbara Starr (CNN) adds, "There's no word on any Americans wounded."
RUDAW reports, "Military sources in the area told Rudaw that the incident happened in the vicinity of Tel Skuf, about 28 kilometers north of Mosul. The body of the dead soldier was retrieved by a US helicopter, military sources on the scene said. "
STARS AND STRIPES adds, "It comes as the U.S. steps up its campaign against the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria, where the U.S. now has several thousand troops deployed to support Iraq security forces and other partners on the ground."

PBS couldn't even identify the fallen this evening in their barely their mention -- this despite the fact that, today at noon,  CNN had identified the fallen.

Barbara Starr and Jeremy Diamond (CNN) reported:

Navy SEAL Charles Keating IV, the grandson of savings-and-loan financier Charles Keating Jr.,died in combat against ISIS in northern Iraq, his family said Tuesday.
"He is our family hero in every sense of the word," cousin Elizabeth Ann Keating told CNN.
    [. . .]
A 2004 graduate of Arcadia High School in Phoenix, he was city and region champion in the 1,600-meter run as a sophomore, junior and senior, according to azcentral.com. At Indiana University, he was a member of the 2004-05 track team that finished as a Big Ten runner-up in both the indoor and outdoor seasons, competing in the mile run, the school said in a statement.
His high school track and cross country coach, Robert Wayne Reniewicki, said Keating made the decision to serve his country after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
The office of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey issued this statement:

“Our state and nation are in mourning today over the loss of a U.S. serviceman – and one of America’s finest. Navy SEAL Charlie Keating IV, a graduate of Arcadia High School in Phoenix, was killed this morning in an ISIS attack in Iraq.
“Mr. Keating is the third American service member to be killed in direct combat in our nation’s fight against ISIS. His death is a tragic reminder of the daily sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform – fighting evil and extremism on the front lines to protect freedom and democracy at home and throughout the world.
“Our thoughts, prayers and eternal gratitude are with Mr. Keating, his family, his fellow SEALs, and all of the brave Americans who’ve answered the call to serve.
“In honor of Navy SEAL and Arizona hero Charlie Keating IV, I’ve directed that all state flags be lowered to half-staff tomorrow, May 4, from sunrise to sunset. Flags will again be lowered on the day of his interment, for which services are pending.”
